I am excited to announce that starting in October, I will be serving as program assistant for a Christian outdoor adventure program in New Zealand!
Over the past year in Austria, God has shown me a passion and gifting for this specific ministry. I truly find joy in encouraging others and teaching them through experiences in God’s beautiful creation. I have also come to realize that during these years of my life, I have the opportunity to serve in BIG ways in a context that practically I would not be able to serve in later in life.

The program is called Adventure Bible School (ABS) at Capernwray New Zealand and is part of Torchbearers International, the same organization I have been involved with in Austria. ABS is a 6-week intensive program designed to challenge the whole person; body, soul, and spirit, particularly in the area of Christian living. Altogether, will help lead 3 programs over the course of the next 8 months. The class size of 18 students makes for a unique, personal opportunity to encounter God in an international setting.
At the program, I will be instructing outdoor sports and leading adventure-based learning activities. More than an instructor, this is a discipleship role. I will be an RA and spiritual mentor to the students, living alongside them and investing in their lives.

As this is a ministry role, I will be raising support. This money will be used to support me personally during the year of ministry. Specifically, the funds will be used to contribute toward the cost of travel expenses to and from NZ, health insurance, visa fees, groceries and personal needs.
The easiest way to give is electronically through Venmo: @Hannah-young-810. Alternately, checks can be given in person before September 20th, or mailed to my physical address in New Zealand: Capernwray Bible School, P.O. Box 702, Cambridge 3450. NEW ZEALAND.
If you are unable to contribute financially, your prayers are just as much appreciated! You can follow this blog for updates & prayer requests in the coming months.
